Come, learn all of the catching fundamentals!
The fundamentals of catching a football include:
Hand positioning: Use your fingers, not your palms, to catch the ball. Keep your hands soft and slightly bent.
Eye contact: Keep your eyes on the ball throughout the throw.
Arm extension: Extend your arms away from your body.
Tucking: After catching the ball, tuck it into your body to protect it from defenders.
Consistency: Maintain a consistent hand strike with the ball.
